Kudos 2

I’ve been playing Kudos 2 a little bit. It’s a life-sim strategy game by Positech Games. You control a character’s life for ten years, deciding what new things he learns, what career he pursues and social life.  You can only do one thing per day though (two on weekends) so most of the time you have to choose if you spend time by yourself, take an evening class or hang out with our friends.

It’s very polished and the music is nice, same goes for the art. I’m not sure why you would want to run a virtual life than your own real life, but it’s fun. 🙂 If nothing else, it’s chance to try something else than what you do in real life. That’s a mistake I did in the beginning. I started choosing classes and activities that reflects what I do in real life.  But I realized what I was doing and went in a completely different direction.  So my character, Edward, is trying to become a famous actor, but so far he’s only gotten roles as an extra.

I definitely recommend checking it out if you like these type of games. You can try a demo before buying it for $19.95.
